My projects
Mind Body Medicine : Meditation for Chronic Pain
Everyone has a story. Mine is that of a journey overcoming chronic psychosomatic back pain with mind-body medicine and meditation. This started my journey of understanding the science behind meditation and why it worked for me.
After learning several meditation techniques at various institutes and after 7 years of daily meditation practice, I've recently become curious on training to become a meditation teacher.
What I'm writing next
Having lived in four countries and explored many more with my husband, I recognize and value how children's stories about different cultures can provide a window into the world. They offer young readers a chance to experience diverse cultures and places without leaving home. My current project adapts a popular folktale to introduce the "sambhar", a beloved South Asian staple that holds cherished memories from my childhood.

Writing
Will you be my friend, peacock?
I created this story for my children when they were young, teaching them that meaningful friendships require time and patience to develop and last a lifetime. It became their nightly bedtime favorite. The story has silliness interleaved throughout making it fun for kids 3 to 6 years old. Years later, their encouragement inspired me to publish it, launching my journey as a children's book author.

What I'm working on now
After years of building products and managing projects, I now find myself missing coding. This is my journey back to building things for fun.
It's never been a better time to get back to coding as learning to code in 2024 is so different than learning to code even just 5 years ago - thanks to generative AI tools!! Follow me on my blog if you want to be on this journey too!
